Hello, I thought I’d grab a minute between takes to have a little catch up. I’m filming a new series called Last Resort in Kilkenny in Ireland. I have two lovely co stars Tessa Peake Jones and Jason Watkins alongside lots of other delightful actors. It’s for Channel 5 and I’ll let you know as soon as I have a transmission date, in case you fancy seeing me on screen and not in the garden (where I belong).

I’ve been beavering away with lots of fresh illustrations over the last few months so there will be some new things on this site soon which I hope you’ll like.

As I write this, we are in the middle of some of hottest weather that these islands have ever known. I do hope you’re managing to keep cool and stay out of the very strong sunshine.

While I’m here, I just want to say thank you to those of you who take the time and the care to write such beautiful reviews for the things that I create for my shop. I always read everything that you write and it means the world when you or the folk you are buying gifts for are happy with the things I design. Everything is made in the UK , as you know. It means so much to work with people I’ve met and whose work I value and trust.

I'd better go and learn lines now or I won’t know what I’m talking about in the next scene!
